Quebec Landlords Association Offering Free Rent Increase Forms

by Chris on January 30, 2012

The Quebec Landlords Association is offering landlords an improved version of its rent increase calculation form.

The program is intended to make the process of calculating rent increases and sending out lease modifications simplier.  A landlord can enter their data directly onto the form, and a Notice of Modification and Tenant Response Form will be generated automatically.  “The only thing for the landlord to do is to print and send everything to the tenant, ” says Martin Messier, president of the Association.

“Moreover, while entering your data regarding the terms of your lease (expiry, duration…), you will instantaneously know the deadline before which you will have to send your notice,” adds Mr. Messier.

Landlords will be able to download the file to their computers and save the data used. To obtain this file for free, just call the Quebec Landlords Association at 1-888-382-9670 or visit their website at apq.org.
