Want to attract Quality Tenants?
The Crime Free Multi-Housing Program is the way to do it.
This two-day award winning program developed with the cooperation of local police departments is designed to help landlords and property managers keep illegal activity from rental properties.
Rental communities across North America have reported significant reduction in crime and police intervention as a result of this program, and individual landlords report that tenants are attracted to properties which bear the Crime Free certification.
During the training, landlords will receive information and training regarding crime, including tips for screening tenants, participate in an evaluation of their rental property to avoid possible problems with crime, have their rental property listed as a police-approved, crime-free accommodation, and can display their Crime Free certification for prospective tenants. The certification may also result in insurance discounts.
The Edmonton Apartment Association is sponsoring a Crime Free Multi-Housing training on October 18 and 19. Check their website for more information, or call (780) 413-9773.
